Unfriendly greeting! Despite that we had pre-booked, nothing was ready! We were out for 7 hours and were really looking forward to the room! You just have to prepare the room because of us and that would also take at least 1 hour. Only then were we asked whether we were traveling for business or pleasure. When that was cleared up too, the mood didn't improve. We felt like extra baggage and not like welcome guests! Haven't seen potential customers dealt with in a condescending manner. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take anything harmonious with us from the harmonious images on the Internet! Besides a recommendation, maybe not to book in Corona times, then it will certainly work with the friendliness and a RECEPTION!

Excellent cafe with delicious cakes. You should bring some waiting time, as the demand is very high. Keep it up!

After a hike through the Hohe Schrecke we got delicious cakes here. However, warm dishes are also offered, so that you can also plan your lunch break here.

Perfect starting point for excursions in the region

After a long hike through the autumnal Hohe Schrecke, we stopped at the café in the Bismarck manor. The service staff were all extremely friendly and quick. The decision between the different types of home-baked cake is not that easy, because every single type not only looks delicious, but actually tastes heavenly! Thank you and see you next time!

Very cozy ambience. After a hike around Braunsroda, a piece or two of the homemade cake and a pot of coffee ... A perfect day.

Very nice garden cafe. Super friendly service. The senior also takes care of the guests. A table was set out especially for us because everything was occupied. Thanks a lot for this. Oh yes, the food was delicious!

Very courteous service, small menu, good selection of cakes. A small retreat and good stop for hikers.

The bismarck herring is very good. The mango sauce with it is exceptionally tasty in combination.

Delicious homemade cake in a nice atmosphere.

Very nice, delicious cake and a manor with morbid charm. A lot of work would have to be done on the buildings in order to make them shine again in their old glory. However, there are already 3 apartments.

We stayed for two nights with our small kids and really enjoyed the time. Large appartment for a good price, great breakfast & local cake. Owner took care of us whereever possible! Also the area is good for hiking and short trips to e.g Kyffhäuser. We would have expected more animals on the farm and the possibility to give a helping hand (as called out on several portals) This hasn't been possible, therefore 4/5.

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. There are few dishes, but everything is very delicious. The cake was homemade. Larger groups should register beforehand.

A very nice, inviting inn with a nice outdoor restaurant. Friendly staff who implement the Corona safety regulations with a smile.

Beautiful apartment, very loving breakfast - this is how vacation should be. Unfortunately we couldn't try the cake - we were just late in the evening;) But we'll do that next time!

Super recommend !! First and foremost the delicious cakes baked in-house and of course the ambience.

Very tasteful furnishings, cozy and clean rooms and warm service. We always feel very comfortable here! The landscape is wonderful, there is a lot to discover. A trip is worthwhile and I can only recommend it, especially for nature lovers or families with children. I'm looking forward to the next vacation!

How were here after a funeral. The staff was very friendly and flexible as we arrived over an hour before the agreed time. The served appetizers, the goulash soup and also the cake were very tasty and showed the professionalism of the preparation. Parking is abundant in the courtyard. Due to the age of the building, it is only partially suitable for wheelchair users, but there is a ramp in the building.

A wonderful place with wonderful people. A coffee hour turns into a journey back in time, not only because the cake is still baked ... there are so many interesting things to see and, if you want, to hear too. Kristin and Georg von Bismarck can tell a lot about their lives ... and in general. Conclusion, even a downpour is a wonderful experience at Gut von Bismarck.

Farmers market on the farm is always very busy! Takes place every first Saturday of the month! There are many regional and seasonal offers (fruits, vegetables, bread, pastries, tea, meat, sausages, wine, jam ...)! There are many goodies offered!
